| My name is Dan Bevington, I
am the General Manager at Select Suzuki. I have worked at Select since
January 1st 2003. My wife, Rachelle and I both started working at
Select on the same day.
I
was born in Canton, Ohio (home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame) on
August 27th, 1980. I lived in Canton for about 14 years, and then moved
to Frankfort with my family in 1994.
Upon moving to Frankfort, I
attended Franklin County High School. While at FCHS, I played football
for four years and was on the wrestling team. While in school at
Franklin County, my parents along with help from my brother, sister,
and I started a new business in 1997. The business was named Select
Auto Sales & Leasing and would later become Select Suzuki. When I
was in high school, I worked in the detail department cleaning up cars
for the lot. After graduating from FCHS, I attended Western Kentucky
University. At Western, I was a computer science major and a member of
Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity.
During my freshman year at WKU, I
met my future wife Rachelle. We both graduated in December of 2002 with
honors. After graduation, I had to make a decision about my future and
my relationship with Rachelle. We could either find jobs and move where
our jobs took us, or we could tryto find jobs in the same area so we
could stay together. I interviewed for a few jobs in advertising,
computers, and web design but felt compelled to help out with the
family business instead. I talked with my parents and they were excited
that I wanted to come to work at the dealership. They also offered
Rachelle a job at the same time. Rachelle and I were apprehensive about
working together, but we didn't want tobe apart either, so we decided
to would give working together it a try.
I started out at Select
working on the website, and as time progressed,took on more and more
responsibilities. Today, I am the General Manger of the dealership. I
work closely with my Dad and my wife on a daily basis. It can be
difficult balancing work and personal relationships,but we all get
along great.
The best part of my job is being around my family.
I get to see my Mom,my Dad, my wife, and my two daughters (Ellie, 2 and
Mallory, 8 weeks)everyday. I also enjoy working with the great people
we have on our team, and seeing customers who have become great family
friends over the coarse of the 6-7 years I have worked at Select. While
at work, I enjoy talking to people, and learning new things about
advertising and marketing, especially on the Internet.
Some of
my favorite hobbies outside of work include watching football,going to
concerts, and going out to dinner with friends. My favorite football
team is the Ohio State Buckeyes, my favorite band is Pearl Jam, and my
favorite restaurant is Cheddars in Lexington. I'm still close with a
lot of my college friends and fraternity brothers and appreciate every
opportunity I have to spend time with them. My dreamjob is to work as a
music producer, or to work for Google, but I love the challenges of
entrepreneurship and running a business, and hope to one day become a
part owner of Select Suzuki!
I spend most of my free time with
my wife, taking care of our two young daughters. We like to go to the
zoo, or to the mall, or to Indiana to see Rachelle's side of the
family. All three of "my girls" (as I call them) are truly a blessing.
I

| | We would like to thank everyone who helpedus honor Breast Cancer Awareness month in October. We gave away 100 Susan G. Koman Insulated CoffeeMugs and over 500 Pink "Let's Find A Cure!" Wristbands. We also helped spreadawareness by handing out pamphlets.

has a new website! Although the site has a new look, you can still find
it at the same address on the web. In case you've never been to the
site, the address is selectsuzuki.com. The new website will allow us to
offer exciting new features like video, social network integration,
vehicle walk-around demonstrations, payment calculators, an interactive
map to the dealership, and an automatic "CarFinder"!  Let's
start by exploring the Inventory Tab. First, start by dragging your
mouse over the Inventory tab. A set of buttons should appear. Under the
Inventory tab, click the New Inventory button and you can visit our new
car showroom. From there, you can build your own new Suzuki, view
available exterior colors, experience 360 degree photos, and watch
videos. You can also submit an inquiry for exclusive internet pricing!
Looking
for a used car? Simply click on the Used Inventory button to view
Select's pre-owned inventory. If you click the filter buttons at the
top of the page, you can specify to see only Certified Used Suzuki's or
CarFax 1 Owner vehicles. Below the "Filter By" heading on the Pre-Owned
Inventory page, you can filter our entire Pre-Owned Inventory by
selecting specific years, makes, models, body styles, and prices by
simply clicking on the corresponding drop down arrows. Once you have
successfully filtered the inventory to include your preferred vehicles,
you can then sort the results by year, make, model, type, mileage, and
price. Click the "Sort By" selection once to sort in ascending order
or twice to sort in descending order. If you narrow you search to
include multiple vehicles, check the boxes next to the vehicles then
click "Compare" to do an instant comparison. Once you find the desired
vehicle, click on it to enter the vehicle detail page. On this page,
you can watch a video about the car, experience interior and exterior
360 degree photos, view all 32 photos of the actual vehicle, or view 32
stock photos. You can also Request More Info, Make an Offer, Schedule a
Test Drive, Apply for Financing, request a Trade-In Appraisal, view or
print an E-Brochure, E-mail the vehicle to a Friend, or Share the
vehicle on Facebook or Twitter. From the vehicle detail page, you can
also Calculate a Monthly Payment, Get Interactive Directions to the
dealership, or View Similar Vehicles.
If, after looking at all
the new and pre-owned vehicles we have available, you still haven't
found the perfect vehicle, try our CarFinder. CarFinder will
automatically notify when cars that interest you arrive! We will send
you photos and details of the vehicle(s) that interest you most,
automatically... no hassles, and no obligation.
After you find
the vehicle you want, you may want to consider financing options. The
Financing tab has three main sections. The first button, labeled
Financing, will allow you to submit a brief inquiry to our Finance
Manager. Our Finance Manager will then call, or e-mail you to help with
the loan approval process. The second button, labeled Finance
Application, will allow you to complete the process of applying for a
vehicle loan securely and confidentially in seconds without having to
discuss personal information or credit history. The third button,
labeled Payment Estimator will allow you to use different payment
calculators to determine what you can afford and what your monthly
payment will be. After you've calculated an acceptable amount you can
search our inventory for vehicles matching this price, all with the
single click of a button!
Besides selling and financing
vehicles, a huge part of our business at Select involves servicing
vehicles. At Select Auto Service, we service all makes and models
regardless where you purchased your vehicle. We perform all types of
automotive service from oil changes, to brake jobs, to transmission and
coolant flushes. We also repair engines and transmissions, and service
diesels and commercial vehicles. Our highly qualified technicians are
here to provide exceptional service in a timely manner. We are
dedicated to maintaining top tier customer service, for both new and
pre-owned car buyers! Allow our staff to demonstrate our commitment to

correctly, and as inexpensively as possible. The Parts Department also
stocks a wide range of Suzuki Accessories for you to customize your new
or used Suzuki. From all weather floor mats, to chrome accents, to body
kits and moldings, we have everything you need to stand out from the
crowd. Fill out the Parts Request form for any questions you may have
about Suzuki or aftermarket Parts or Accessories. If we don't have it,
we can get it, and because we are a wholesale distributor, we can
usually get it for less than you can get it yourself.
The final
tab is About Us. We know that when it comes to purchasing a car or
having your car serviced, money is usually a determining factor. It is
our hope that you find that we are extremely competitive when it comes
to price, products, quality, and customer service. We also hope that
you care as much about how you are treated at our dealership as we do.

At
Select Auto Service, we do a lot more than you might realize just
driving by the front of the showroom on Versailles Road. In addition to
servicing Suzuki vehicles, and performing Suzuki warranty repairs, we
also specialize in service and maintenance on ALL MAKES and ALL models
regardless of where you purchased your vehicle. We do everything from
brakes and tires, to engine and transmission repair and everything in
between. We even have a certified Diesel mechanic on staff! The
Service Department is co-managed by Mike Green and Rachelle Bevington.
Mike deals with the technical side of auto repair, from assisting in
diagnosing the problem to calculating the estimate, to communicating
with the customer about the solution. Rachelle deals with the office
side of the Service Department. She administers warrant work, writes
repair orders, closes repair orders, cashiers, and handles accounts
payable and accounts receivable. Heather Burke and Mark Mathers are
also integral parts of the Service Office staff. Heather assists
Rachelle with the Office work and Accounting, and Mark works in the
Parts Department and helps Mike and the technicians find the right
parts at the right price so we can pass the savings along to you. In the next edition of the newsletter, we will highlight our technicians!
